Event organisers, She’s Gott It, are searching for new staff and offices to help their company expand.
The company, established by Nickie Gott, needs larger offices as it has outgrown their current offices at Forster House office in Finchdale Road, Durham.
Mrs. Gott is also looking for a second location for new offices in Scotland.
Mrs Gott, who established the business 7 years ago, has just returned from the United Arab Emirates, where she carried out event management consultancy work.
This involved planning an event for a shopping mall in order to promote the mall and encourage more customers to walk through the door.
Now that she is back, Mrs. Gott has got a clear idea of how to move the business forward and this includes relocating to new offices.
She said, “We’re looking at a couple of places but we haven’t signed anything as yet.”
“We do a lot of work in Durham, Scotland, Teesside, Newcastle and Northumberland so it’s a good halfway house.”
A sound business plan got the company to this stages and helped to focus the company by giving them a clear idea of how they were going to develop and expand.
She said she was astounded by how effective the business plan has been and it has had a very beneficial impact on the business.
Mrs. Gott also has plans to acquire an office abroad. She said, “We were looking at the Spanish market, and we still are.”
“If it’s successful, we could see an office in Dubai and I haven’t ruled that out yet.”
