AMB Insurance leases new Staffordshire office space
AMB change Staffordshire offices.
Insurance company lease offices in Victorian redevelopment.
Insurance specialists AMB have announced that they are moving from their current office space in Stone, Staffordshire. The company will be moving to brand new offices in Wolstanton near to Newcastle-Under-Lyme. The new offices will be larger than the firm’s current space and will allow them to expand their workforce.
It is expected that the move will create new jobs in the Newcastle area. The company is expecting to move into the new offices once the restoration and redevelopment is completed later this year. The project has been welcomed by local residents thanks to the employment opportunities it provides. Including the jobs created on the construction and redevelopment team.
“We’re excited at the prospect of moving to our new location. This building has so much history, and we’re pleased to have this opportunity to renovate it and support the local community too,” commented Claire Pigeon, managing director at AMB Insurance.
The building is something of a local landmark, built in the Victorian era the property has retained many of its original design features. The building has also housed some interesting people in the past including Absalom Reade Wood, who is famous for designing the Tunstull Civic Centre and Town Hall.
Commenting on the building Ms Pigeon said: “A building like this one deserves to be looked after, and we are employing local tradespeople to restore it to its former grandeur. It’s great to be able to invest in the local community even before moving here, especially given the history of the house.”
