Brewin Dolphin will consolidate three offices and take office space at the Atria Edinburgh development.
The independent investment manager is to take 48,000 sq ft at Atria One in 2013.
According to reports out this week, the firm have agreed to be the first key tenant in the landmark city centre development. As part of the agreement, Brewin Dophin have agreed to consolidate its three existing offices in Edinburgh into 48,000 sq ft of office space on the fifth and sixth floors of the Atria One building in June 2013.
Currently the firm have investment management teams in Drumsheigh Gardens, business support, risk and regulation teams in Princes Street and their execution-only broking operation, Stocktrade, on George Street.
Commenting on the relocation, Brewin Dolphin’s Edinburgh head Marc Wilkinson said: “We are delighted to be moving into Atria One where we will be positioned in the heart of Edinburgh’s business district, with excellent facilities for our clients.
“This consolidation will give us further room for expansion in the future and it will be very positive to bring all Brewin Dolphin staff in Edinburgh under one roof. We are excited about the move and are already working with the design team and contractor on our fit out.”
Located next to the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the Atria Edinburgh development is still currently under construction but once completed, it will become the only speculative city centre office development to offer more than 100,000 sq ft of office space after London and the South East in 2013.
Consisting of two buildings, Atria Edinburgh will offer Grade A office space in the heart of Edinburgh’s business district to a range of tenants. The larger Atria One building consists of more than 180,000 sq ft of flexible floor plates across seven floors, while the smaller Atria Two building provides more than 13,000 sq ft of office space across two floors. Office space in both buildings will be available to rent from Q1 2013.
