An office based company has won a prestigious award for the fourth time in five years, as the company look to build on their previous successes.
Business Environment Wembley collected the BCA Best Business Centre Award 2010 as the company picked up their third successive award.
Voted for by customers, the BCA Award is given out to the firm who make their clients the happiest. Business Environment have a strong track record as their four victories demonstrate. The year they failed to win was in 2007 when they finished runners-up.

Manchester office sector ends the year in a healthy position thanks to encouraging investment.
Manchester has shown signs that it is emerging from the recent economic downturn stronger than ever with a 45% rise in new tenants taking up
office space in the city.
The statistics come from a report compiled by British and Irish property consultancy firm Lambert Smith Hampton which was released earlier this month.
The Greater Manchester Office Market Review 2010 report analysed all of the figures over the past twelve months for the three prime office sub markets in the northwestern city.

Highcross have snapped up office portfolios across the UK for £40 million less than the portfolio is actually believed to be worth.
The property fund manager has taken over the Civitas portfolio which is owned by Lloyds Bank and valued at £76.5 million, Highcross have purchased the sites for £35 million. (more…)

A report has shown that UK office tenants are beginning to consider with greater alacrity the role of the environment when choosing where to lease
office space.
Office sites in the UK are giving careful consideration about how environmentally friendly they are, according to a survey carried out across eight countries by GEO Capital Real Estate.
Over 2,200 office tenants were asked in the UK, USA, Sweden, Japan, Canada, France, Germany and Spain with an average of 50% stating that environmental concerns figured highly in how they came to choose their office space.

ITV are due to relocate part of the popular soap opera Coronation Street to Media City UK.
Soap opera Coronation Street will be partially relocated to offices in Media City UK as part of ITV’s drive to combine much of its output in one commercial property.
Coronation Street staff will join other ITV employees in taking up residency in their new offices in Salford Quays when the site is due to open in 2012, after agreeing a deal with Peel Media.
The move will see the majority of ITV’s media output move into Media City UK, close to the new BBC site and next to the Imperial War Museum. (more…)

There are new offices in Wembley following the completion of office sites by developer St Modwen, with the site given the seal of approval by the local MP.
The
London borough of Brent has welcomed a new office development in the Wembley area, which has been opened by Labour MP Barry Gardiner.
St Modwen have completed the initial first stage of what will be a £90 million redevelopment of the town centre, with the office site at Ramsey House.
