Office space doubled up by engineering firm in Salford

25,000 square feet of workspace will be added by an engineering firm in Salford, which will mean they have doubled their amount of Rent office space office spaceoffice space. It also means they have added 25 percent to their manufacturing capacity.

According to a report released by thebusinessdesk.com ENER-G, the renewable energy specialists, are looking to spend approximately £2 million on extending their office space and are hoping to have new space opened by the end of the year.

Once this is completed, the firms office space at the site will be up to 24,000 sq ft and will put more workspace in a near-by building that will be used to expand manufacturing operations for the firm.

120 Staff will have to relocate to office in Pendleton until the office space is complete. Derek Duffill, group managing director said, “Our innovative products and services are in demand across the globe fuelling powerful growth which is reflected in a rapid rise in turnover and the need to expand our main site in Salford. We employ more than 760 people worldwide in and have operating companies and joint ventures in 17 countries.”
