Philip Grace starts new Office company, backed by Helical Abbeygate
Ex-UBC boss Philip Grace has started an office company, named 12office.co.uk which has received backing from Helical Bar and Abbeygate. Mr Grace left UBC in December 2008, but was a very prominent member of the serviced office industry. Few doubted it would be long before he was back on the scene. The new company has opened it’s first business centre at Helical Abbeygate’s £140m C4.1 Vizion development in Milton Keynes. i2 Office aims to ‘maximise IT support and technology to offer cost-effective office space and clear pricing for clients.’
Mike Slade, who is the CEO at Helical Bar said he was excited about starting another serviced office venture with an experienced person like Philip. He added that the serviced office sector will becoming increasingly important in the next few years. One benefit, that Mike alluded to, is that smaller companies can use high grade office space at an affordable price because of shared overheads.
Best of luck to Philip, Mike and the rest of the team.
