Regus in India seeing increased demand
Demand for smaller office space is increasing according to Madhusudan Thakur, Country General Manager (India), Regus. The company is finding that they are seeing increased interests from people requiring 1-2 workspaces, as well as those currently working form home. Many of the new businesses are being formed from those who have been made redundant. Major corporates who had been planning to expand are now scaling back their plans.
Regus have an impressive list of corporate clients including GlasxoSmithkline, Google, and Yahoo. However they have also proved ideal for a growing army of smaller businesses. With flexible contracts and low start up costs, they are ideal for those companies who have limited capital. The global economic slowdown has highlighted how companies need affordable and flexible office space, that can be adapted as a when needed.
