There are many factors that can affect us during our daily lives from pollution caused by cars on the commute in to the kinds of food that we eat. However, what we probably don’t realise is the way we act in the office can really affect our personal health and the health of others around us. With this in mind here are a few tips on ensuring you don’t get ill in the office.
The first thing that affects people’s general health and well being is the actual environment itself. Unnatural lighting and ineffective air conditioning systems can have a huge effect on people’s health. Whilst this might not seem much at a glance imagine that you spend 8 hours a day there for a year and all that time your skin is under artificial light, your eyes adjust to it and artificial air is all you breathe.
