Google to move into London’s ‘Silicon Valley’
Google will lease commercial property close to ‘Silicon Roundabout’.
A seven floor commercial property located close to London‘s ‘Silicon Roundabout’ is to be leased by search engine optimisation giant Google.
Located on Old Street in the east of the British capital city, Google will lease 25,000 square feet of commercial office space in London over the next 11 years, paying rent of approximately £5 million.
London is attempting to turn itself into a British ‘Silicon Valley’ by attracting as many top class clients as possible to the city and Google’s acceptance will have boosted the capital.
