Manchester firm Amaze PLC are moving to new office headquarters in Number One First Street – the company will take the complete top floor of office space.

Edinburgh office properties receive a boost in third quarter

Office property in Edinburgh has received a boost thanks to a strong third quarter.

More companies are investing in Edinburgh Rent office space office spaceoffice space after a report showed an increase on third quarter take-up from the corresponding period of last year.

Edinburgh office space has received a boost as more firms have taken up the offer of commercial property in the Scottish capital during the previous quarter.

Caudwell Properties appoint JLL to manage office sites.

Caudwell Properties have instructed Jones Lang LaSalle to manage their nationwide office property portfolio.

Property advisors Jones Lang LaSalle have been appointed to manage office property belonging to the Caudwell business, including large offices in the North East and Midlands.

Jones Lang LaSalle has been given the task of managing all of the Caudwell Properties which stretch across England.

The portfolio contains 920,000 square feet comprising of both office and industrial space.  The largest office properties are in the West Midlands and North East. (more…)

Cardiff commercial property in third quarter growth

Over 50,000 square feet of commercial property in Cardiff was sold in the last three months.

Rent Office space office spaceOffice space in Cardiff has received a boost during the past three months with 50,000 square feet leased, however the picture is less rosy for the future.

Cardiff city-centre office space has leased out close to 50,000 square feet following sales of Grade B offices in the third quarter of this calendar year. Although this figure might sound impressive it does represent a lower than hoped for investment into the Welsh capital.

The majority of the deals have resulted in Grade B properties being taken on by businesses, with only 3,000 square feet of Grade A property let in the centre. (more…)

The ‘Cheesegrater’ office is now to be built in London after plans were given the green light, two years after the project had been postponed.

British Land and Oxford Properties are preparing to start work on a new office tower in London after the company announced plans to build a portfolio in the capital.

The skyscraper, nicknamed the ‘Cheesegrater’ because of its distinctive wedge-shaped design, will take its place amongst other famous London office buildings such as the ‘Gherkin’ and the nearby soon-to-be-built ‘Walkie talkie’ building. (more…)
