The space will provide office staff with a place to work during the revamp process which is set to be completed this year.
Office workers that are affected by the revamp of Peterborough’s train station can benefit from temporary office space being placed on the land beside the station to help them to cope with the disruption.
The £2.5m revamp saw work begin on platforms 4 and 5 last September and work to reconstruct the main concourse has just begun. (more…)
Proposed Peterborough offices to create jobs.
New offices in the region could create around 350 new jobs.
New plans have been put forward to Peterborough Council to redevelop a site in the town into high quality
office space and potentially create around 350 jobs. The proposal was put together by IT specialists Kelway Ltd which hopes to create a 3 storey office building that has the potential for attracting new business and creating new job positions. The new offices would be located at Phorpres Way in Cygnet Park, Hampton.
If the development does go ahead then it will potentially create 3,000 square metres of office space and would initially create 150 jobs with the potential to create 350 in the long term. The application was put together by John Dadge, an expert from the planning and development department of property agents Barker Storey Matthews. (more…)
