Scottish businesses coping better than British counterparts
New research claims small businesses in Scotland are dealing with the recession better than the rest of Britain.
Nearly one in ten small and medium sized business in Scotland reported an increase in turnover by 10% compared with 8% elsewhere in the UK. The survey, carried out by Business Pulse 2009, also found the turnover of 56% of businesses in Scotland has not fallen since the downturn. (more…)
