Shared office space will save money for local services in Staffordshire.

It has been announced that health staff, police officers and council workers will all share the same office space in Staffordshire to save space. All those involved have stated that the move will in no way affect the quality of their work or the services that they provide. Additionally, they are stating that it actually benefits residents as it means that they can communicate and access all of these services in one place.

The moves are expected to happen over the span of the next 12 months and will see Newcastle-Under-Lyme Borough Council share its civic offices with the PCT, Staffordshire Police and the Staffordshire County Council. (more…)
