Land Securities to team up with CWG to develop Walkie Talkie tower
Land Securities is believed to have secured Canary Wharf Group as a partner for the development of the Walkie Talkie tower at 20 Fenchurch Street.
Reports out this week suggest LandSec will confirm the partnership later this month. If the deal is confirmed it will mean CWG, which is 70% owned by Songbird, will be working directly with its rival on the development. Once completed the skyscraper will provide 660,000 sq ft of office space and 23,000 sq ft of retail space. The development is expected to be completed in 2014 and will come at a crucial time for the
